Background
Kyla is a member of Young Moore and Henderson’s workers’ compensation practice group. She has represented clients at all phases of a claim, including representation and negotiation at mediations, litigating cases before the North Carolina Industrial Commission, and in appeals to the North Carolina Court of Appeals. As part of her practice, Kyla travels across the state, defending her clients’ interests at mediations, hearings, and depositions.
Kyla joined Young Moore in 2009 after representing employers and carriers for three-and-a-half years in the Raleigh office of a large insurance defense firm. She is active in both state and local bar associations, including Wake Women Attorneys and as a volunteer with the North Carolina Bar Association’s 4All campaign to help make legal services available to all North Carolinians.
