Martin R. Jernigan

Background

Martin joined Young Moore & Henderson in 2008 as an associate after receiving his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law in May of 2008.  Martin is a member of Young Moore and Henderson’s litigation team. In his practice, he handles defense of health care providers in medical malpractice actions and Section 1983 civil rights claims against health care providers.

As an undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Martin was a four-year varsity football player and letter winner. As a senior, he was the recipient of the Bob Osterneck Memorial Award. Martin is an avid supporter of UNC athletics. In his spare time, Martin enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as hunting, fishing, golf and other outdoor activities.
