Background

Robert deRosset practices law in the field of civil litigation with a special emphasis on product liability, trucking and transportation law and business litigation. Robert tries cases in the Superior Court throughout North Carolina and in each of North Carolina’s three federal district courts. Robert is licensed to practice law in both North Carolina and South Carolina, and is certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission to conduct mediated settlement conferences in Superior Court cases. Robert is available for mediations in most counties. He is an active member of the products liability practice group of ALFA International.

Prior to joining Young Moore and Henderson in 2001, Robert practiced law for two years in Columbia, South Carolina and served as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in León, Nicaragua. Through his experience in Nicaragua, Robert became fluent in written and spoken Spanish, and has been able to use his language skills to better serve clients of Young Moore and Henderson and effectively mediate cases involving parties whose primary language is Spanish.
