We represent individual companies in property-casualty, life, health, disability, credit, reinsurance and other insurance matters. We assist insurers of all types in conducting their business in North Carolina. We are regularly associated to assist insurers and their counsel before the Department of Insurance with respect to matters arising out of insurance regulation. We have many years of experience representing insurance companies at the North Carolina legislature.

Our experience includes hearings before the Commissioner of Insurance, informal negotiations with the Department of Insurance, formal regulatory rule making, inquiries from the Department of Insurance and a vast array of matters such as company admissions and licensing, policy form approval, market conduct, financial evaluation and agent licensing. Because of our experience with policy forms and with rules and regulations of the Department of Insurance, we regularly assist clients in a wide variety of civil actions arising out of regulated and unregulated insurance products and forms. Our experience in the business of insurance and knowledge of the regulatory system allow us to assist companies and agents in complying with laws and regulations and in handling regulatory matters in a competent, efficient and economical manner.
