Toni-Ann Herwig
Toni-Ann Herwig joined Young Moore and Henderson as an associate in September of 2008. After receiving her law degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 2003, Toni practiced law for five years in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Before attending law school, Toni graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in finance and accounting. Toni practices in the areas of estate planning, wills, trusts, guardianship and business planning.
As a member of the firm's estate planning and probate team, Toni enjoys working with clients to tailor estate plans both to meet the clients' goals for the disposition of assets and to reduce estate and gift taxes.
Toni assists business clients with various issues from formation to dissolution, including choice of entity, shareholder agreements, leases and other third party agreements, and the acquisition and sale of assets and ownership interests.
Toni is admitted to practice in North Carolina, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. She is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, Wake County Bar Association, the Young Lawyers Division of the Wake County Bar Association, and the Wake County Estate Planning Council.
Toni and her husband Chris live in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. In her spare time, Toni is working to achieve her goal of visiting all of the Major League Baseball Stadiums.
