Martin Jernigan joined Young Moore & Henderson in 2008 as an associate after receiving his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law in May of 2008. Martin works with the firm's Workers' Compensation team, representing employers and insurers throughout litigation.

Martin received his undergraduate political science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May of 2005. As an undergraduate, Martin was a four-year varsity football player and letter winner. As a senior, he was the recipient of the Bob Osterneck Memorial Award. Martin is still an avid supporter of UNC athletics.

Martin is a member of the North Carolina State Bar Association, the Wake County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.

In his spare time, Martin enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as hunting, fishing, golf and other outdoor activities.
