Glenn C. Raynor
Glenn C. Raynor is a member of the firm's medical liability practice, personal injury defense and commercial litigation defense teams. His practice includes the defense of personal injury claims, medical liability claims, complex insurance coverage analysis including a focus on uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage, and business litigation. He has successfully tried numerous cases to jury verdict in venues throughout North Carolina. His practice is active in all state and federal trial courts and the appellate courts in North Carolina.
Glenn obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, where he pursued the study of a life-long interest in the sciences, with a particular emphasis on subjects of human anatomy and physiology. He obtained a B.S. Degree in Biology in 1987. Glenn also subsequently obtained his professional degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, receiving his J.D. in 1991. Since first being licensed as an attorney in 1991, Glenn has been with Young Moore and Henderson. After working with the firm as an associate through 1997, he became a shareholder in January, 1998. Through his frequent defense of medical malpractice actions and bodily injury claims, Glenn continues to make use of his undergraduate background in the sciences, as well as his professional training from the UNC School of Law.
Glenn is heavily involved in civic and charitable activities in his community.
He is an active member and deacon of First Baptist Church in Raleigh, through
which he participates in an annual ten-day mission trip to Honduras. He has
dedicated substantial efforts toward providing high quality pro bono representation
to clients unable to afford that representation. He was honored by the Volunteer
Lawyers Program of Wake County in 1996 for his pro bono efforts. He also serves
on various committees of the Wake County Bar Association, and was the President
of the Young Lawyers Division of that Bar Association in 1999. He was listed
in North Carolina Super Lawyers for 2006 and 2007. Within Young Moore
and Henderson, Glenn sits on the firm Recruiting Committee, charged with the
responsibility of identifying and hiring attorneys with the qualifications
to continue the firm's reputation, growth and prosperity into the future.
Glenn has a BV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
