Bryan G. Scott

Bryan Scott is a member of the firm's litigation team. He joined the firm in 2008, after previously practicing in Greensboro, North Carolina and Richmond, Virginia. His practice focuses primarily on commercial and business litigation, complex insurance coverage analysis, and the defense of medical liability and personal injury claims. He has represented companies and individuals in the areas of contract law, business torts, construction law, false advertising and products liability, as well as in the defense of personal injury, property damage and premises liability claims.

Bryan has successfully tried both jury and bench trials and has obtained favorable results for clients before the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, and in North Carolina and Virginia federal and state trial courts. Bryan also has experience representing clients in enforcement hearings before the North Carolina Department of Insurance.

Bryan received his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law, where he served on the Moot Court Board Executive Council and National Sports Law Team. He earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from Appalachian State University. Before attending law school, Bryan worked as a licensed private investigator associate in Greensboro.

Bryan is admitted to practice in North Carolina and Virginia and is actively involved as a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, Virginia Bar Association, and the Wake County Bar Association. He is Co-Chair of the NCBA Domestic Issues Committee.
