McCullough Presents At NC Correctional Association Annual Healthcare Conference

Elizabeth Pharr McCullough presented at the North Carolina Correctional Association Annual Healthcare Conference on October 16th in Raleigh, NC. She spoke about the types of lawsuits most often filed against correctional health care providers, what to do (and not do) if a suit is filed, and how to best avoid becoming involved in a lawsuit. She also spoke on regulations pertaining to correctional health care providers. Elizabeth focuses her practice on the representation of physicians and their practices, including medical malpractice, representation before the North Carolina Medical Board, HIPAA/HITECH and security issues, general health care law and the defense of civil rights section 1983 cases based on the provision of health care.
