Young Moore Welcomes Rachel H. Boyd

Young Moore is pleased to welcome Rachel H. Boyd to the firm as an associate. She represents businesses on matters involving commercial litigation, including complex business disputes, employment, products liability, and premises liability. Prior to joining Young Moore, Rachel served as a law clerk for the Honorable Joseph N. Callaway at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Rachel is a cum laude graduate of Wake Forest University School of Law and a magna cum laude graduate of East Tennessee State University with a degree in Political Science. During law school, Rachel served as notes and comments editor for the Wake Forest Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law. She also served as the Outreach Coordinator of the Domestic Violence Awareness Coalition, a student attorney at the Wake Forest Community Law and Business Clinic, and as a Judicial Extern at the United Stated District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. During her undergraduate studies, Rachel founded the ETSU Pre-Law Society and served as its president for two years.

A native of Virginia, Rachel is a classically trained opera singer and, during her childhood, worked as a professional actress at a world-renowned theatre. She enjoys giving back to the community and is active in several organizations in the community.
