7:00 PM | Cheers to 20 years of Me Fine!

About Me Fine Foundation

Founded in 2004, Me Fine’s defined mission is to provide hope through emotional support and financial assistance to families whose children are receiving care at our North Carolina partner hospitals. With a core belief that Families Come First, Me Fine prioritizes family dignity, privacy, and self-determination and uses its mission as the litmus test for all operational decisions.

The Me Fine Foundation was named in honor of the memory of a brave little boy named Folden Lee IV, who was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in May of 2003. Although one would expect a two-year-old child receiving chemotherapy treatment to act fussy, upset, or at the very least, weary, whenever Folden was asked how he was doing, his response was always “Me Fine!” In spite of gallant efforts, Folden passed in September of 2004.
