Fountain presents to Joint Administrative Procedure Oversight Committee

John N. (Nick) Fountain organized a panel and presented to the Joint Administrative Procedure Oversight Committee of the North Carolina General Assembly on the meaning, effect and possible corrective legislation to address the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision in North Carolina Dental Board vs. Federal Trade Commission. The issues relate to the question whether additional oversight or involvement by the legislative, executive or judicial branches of State government in the operation of approximately fifty occupational licensing boards is necessary, effective or counter-productive.

With forty-four years of experience with numerous boards and commissions, Nick is an acknowledged leader in the practice of Administrative Law.
