Fountain receives Diamond Zeller Award
Nick Fountain was recently awarded a Diamond Zeller Award by the Raleigh Kiwanis Club for leadership in creating a partnership of the Club with the City of Raleigh, and raising more than $350,000.00 to aid construction of the Sassafrass All-Childrens Playground and the rehabilitation of Kiwanis Park, both parks being part of the City of Raleigh Parks system. Raleigh Kiwanis is the fifth largest Kiwanis Club in the world, and both projects are part of a five-year celebration of the Centennial of Raleigh Kiwanis, begun in 1920. Nick had served as President of both the Club and its Foundation before taking on the Centennial Campaign.
