Nick Fountain and Reed Fountain present at 2017 NC Electrical Institute

John N. (Nick) Fountain and Reed N. Fountain presented at the 2017 NC Electrical Institute on Wednesday April 12th. They provided a legislative update, discussed changes to taxes on retail sales of repair, maintenance, and installation services involving real property contracts, and gave an update on enforcement activities of the State Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors.

About the NC Electrical Institute

This year’s meeting was the 88th annual meeting of the NC Electrical Institute. The institute is an education program made possible by the NC Ellis Cannady Chapter of the IAEI, the NC State Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors and the Engineering Division of the Office of the State Fire Marshal, NC Department of Insurance. This year’s program was attended by 630 electrical contractors, code enforcement officials and other professionals.
