Young Moore is pleased to welcome Nicole Curlee and Tyler Jones as the first two participants in the firm’s 2026 Summer Law Clerk Program. The program provides law students with meaningful exposure to the practice of law through hands-on legal work, professional development opportunities, and interaction with attorneys across the firm.

Nicole is a rising third-year law student at the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she serves as Symposium Editor for the First Amendment Law Review. She has gained exposure to both appellate and business litigation matters through prior internships and clerkships. Nicole previously served as a Judicial Intern with the North Carolina Court of Appeals, where she conducted legal research and drafted bench briefs for appellate matters. During a previous summer clerkship with a Raleigh law firm, Nicole gained practical experience supporting business litigation matters through legal research, drafting discovery requests and responses, preparing mediation statements, and assisting with legal memoranda and discovery productions. She is also active in the UNC Women in Law Association and the UNC Pro Bono Attorney Project. Nicole earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science and History from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Tyler is a rising third-year law student at the Campbell University School of Law, where he serves as Supervising Articles Editor of the Campbell Law Review and a Teaching Scholar for Constitutional Law I. Through a previous law school internship, Tyler gained practical experience conducting legal research, drafting litigation documents, and assisting attorneys with case assessments and litigation strategy. Prior to law school, Tyler earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, summa cum laude, from Williams Baptist University, where he was a four-year student-athlete on the varsity baseball team.

The firm is pleased to welcome Nicole and Tyler to Young Moore and looks forward to the contributions they will make during the summer while gaining practical experience in a variety of legal disciplines.
