Young Moore is proud to be a member of ALFA International, America’s oldest legal network of independent law firms, allowing us to address our clients’ needs wherever they may occur.

ALFA International is a premiere global legal network comprised of 140 outstanding member firms, 80 in the United States and 60 international firms located throughout Europe, Asia, Australia/New Zealand, Africa, Canada, Mexico and South America. Membership in ALFA International is a highly sought-after achievement for a law firm, and ALFA conducts rigorous screening to ensure that every member firm provides outstanding legal services. ALFA International law firms are among the best–in-class, garnering local, state, and national recognition and awards. Great care is taken in the selection process, with heavy reliance placed upon input from clients, other ALFA firms, and professional organizations.

Hiring outside counsel in unfamiliar jurisdictions can be a time-consuming process, fraught with risk. But Young Moore’s membership in ALFA International provides our clients with immediate access to a comprehensive network of law firms, covering 95 of the 100 largest U.S. metropolitan areas, and 65 countries around the world.

ALFA International is a leader among its peer networks in the production of national seminars, regional programs and other client-focused events. All of these meetings enable ALFA lawyers and clients to build strong professional and social relationships. ALFA lawyers spend quality time with their clients, getting to know the people, and their businesses. ALFA lawyers also forge strong bonds with fellow network attorneys worldwide. These relationships produce a unique commitment to provide the best in legal services.

ALFA International’s memberships are exclusive. Only one law firm represents the network in each metropolitan area, state, or country. Young Moore is ALFA’s only North Carolina member firm. Moreover, in the United States, member firms may not join any other national legal network. These requirements help nurture cooperation and mutual assistance among our members.

By selecting one of the network’s law firms, clients are retaining the services of many other excellent law firms throughout the U.S. and around the world. ALFA International firms assist fellow members on a regular basis, exchanging non-privileged legal research, consulting on trial and transaction strategies, providing advice on judges and expert witnesses, and otherwise helping fellow member firms to better serve ALFA clients. Each year our numerous seminars and other meetings facilitate the pooling of knowledge and resources among our member firms.

If you have legal needs outside of North Carolina and need assistance finding counsel, please contact your attorney at Young Moore and he or she will assist you in meeting with and learning about an ALFA International member firm.
