About the Jessie F. Richardson Foundation (JFRF)

The Jessie F. Richardson Foundation (JFRF) is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to work to improve conditions for vulnerable older adults in developing areas and the communities in which they live. The first JFRF annual golf tournament in North Carolina took place in 2012. Proceeds from the golf tournament have been used to benefit elders in Nicaragua providing much needed equipment, developing a pharmacy business, replacing water tanks and building a national training center for eldercare – the only one of its kind in all of Central America! In addition, in spite of the political unrest and devastating natural disasters that halted typical channels for donations and services, tournament proceeds have been used to ensure the elders continue to receive essential items like food, water and medicine.
