Young Moore is proud to support the North Carolina FC Youth (formerly CASL) as a sponsor of this 50th-anniversary event!

Beyond the Pitch is a fundraiser to raise much-needed funds to support NCFC Youth’s financial aid fund, which supports access to the game and the benefits that come along with participation. The event will be held at the Angus Barn on October 23.

Young Moore attorney, Elaine “Lainie” M. Moyer serves on the NCFC Youth Board of Directors.

50th Anniversary All Star Commemorative Team

William “Billy” M. Trott

In celebration of this milestone year, NCFC Youth is recognizing a team of 50 players, coaches, teams, and contributors for their impact, support, and achievements on and off the field. Young Moore attorney, Billy Trott, is among those selected.

William “Billy” M. Trott was Board President of CASL in 1985, but his involvement and volunteer contributions spanned for much of the 1980s. By 1990, when Trott hung up his boots as a CASL volunteer, the organization had reached 9,000 youth participants, and become the largest youth sports organization in the area. When he was not devoting his time to CASL, Trott was actively serving the greater community in other ways including the following roles: Board of Directors for the NC Sports Hall of Fame,  Past Chairman of the Wake County Parks & Recreation Commission, Past President North Caroline Tennis Association (where he is also in the Hall of Fame), and President of the North Carolina Tennis Foundation. Click here for details on how Billy helped CASL (now NCFC Youth) pave the way for growth.
