Gray and McCullough present to the North Carolina Association of Long Term Care Facilities (NCALTCF)

Elizabeth Pharr McCullough presented “HIPAA and HITECH: Who Cares?” and Matthew J. Gray presented “The Age of Social Media” on March 3rd at the NCALTCF’s “Strategies for Using and Managing Electronic Media” seminar. The NCLTCFA promotes and furthers the education and advancement of Long Term Care facilities. The presentations focused on policies and procedures for the prevention of HIPAA violations, the use of social media in hiring employees and the use of social media by employees. Elizabeth represents health care providers and entities in state and federal courts in matters involving litigation, representation before regulatory Boards, security and HIPAA related issues and in section 1983 medical based civil litigation. Matt represents health care providers and entities in state and federal courts in matters involving litigation, and assists facilities with employment and general day-to-day matters.
