Young Moore Welcomes 2021 Summer Law Clerks
Young Moore is pleased to welcome the four law school students selected for its 2021 Summer Law Clerk Program.
- Xavier J. McLean has completed his second year at the University of North Carolina School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Xavier earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology at Brigham Young University and then worked as a child protective services investigator for two years.
- Ralph “Will” Meekins, Jr. has completed his first year at the University of North Carolina School of Law. He earned a Masters of Higher Education Administration from the University of Louisville and is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Will continues to serve as an Assistant Professor of Military Science at Duke University.
- Rachel R. Ormand has completed her second year at Wake Forest University School of Law. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Elon University where she majored in Psychology and minored in Philosophy, Criminal Justice Studies, and Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies.
- Tia S. Overway has completed her first year at Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Omaha with a degree in Political Science and Philosophy. Tia is a recipient of the Susan Thompson Buffet Full Academic Scholarship and Campbell University’s Dean’s Excellence Scholarship.
Young Moore’s Summer Law Clerk Program is designed to provide law students the opportunity to experience working day-to-day across all practice areas in the firm while utilizing and developing skills necessary to excel in the practice of law.
