Young Moore Welcomes Three New Attorneys
Young Moore is pleased to announce that Susan T. Fountain, David G. Williams, and Robert D. Whitney have joined the firm. “We are excited to welcome these new attorneys to Young Moore. Their arrival comes on the heels of the addition of John Hutson to our estate planning, business, probate and fiduciary law team,” said David M. Duke, Managing Partner. “Our growth is a sign of the changing times and needs of our clients.”
Susan Fountain is a member of the firm’s health care practice team. She represents hospitals, physicians, and other health care providers in a variety of matters including medical malpractice defense and general liability. She also advises clients on avoiding and managing risk. Susan came to Young Moore from the North Carolina Department of Justice where she defended North Carolina state agencies in medical malpractice tort claims in the North Carolina Industrial Commission and handled other catastrophic injury cases before the North Carolina Industrial Commission. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Law.
David Williams joined the firm as an associate and will focus his practice on the defense and representation of clients in trucking and transportation. He earned his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he served as Acquisitions Editor for Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law. While in law school, he worked with Capital Community Foundation, and the Wake County District Attorney’s Office, before devoting his time to helping with a judicial campaign for the NC Court of Appeals. David is a graduate of University of Tennessee College of Law.
Robert Whitney also joined the firm as an associate and will focus his practice on insurance coverage analysis, insurance bad faith litigation, and business litigation. He previously practiced in Oakland, California as a member of a nationwide litigation boutique firm. He has advised and represented clients in coverage disputes, multi-million dollar complex coverage litigation, bad faith litigation, business tort claims, and other commercial disputes. He graduated cum laude from Duke University School of Law.
