Webinar – Lessons Learned from Recent OCR Enforcement of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules

Virtual Event

Despite the ongoing COVID-19 public health emergency, the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) continues its oversight of health care providers through enforcement of the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules. Particular emphasis has been placed on providing patients with access to their medical record, conducting thorough risk assessments, and implementing appropriate policies and training. Health Care attorney, David Senter, will discuss recent OCR settlements and identify practical steps that providers, large and small, can take to identify and mitigate potential data privacy and security risks.
