Brown Becomes Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law
Young Moore and Henderson is pleased to announce that Stephen A. Brown has been certified by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization as a Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law. To become a Certified Specialist, an attorney must devote a significant part of his or her practice to estate planning and probate law, undergo a peer review process, and pass a written examination. Stephen focuses his practice on business formation and structuring, wealth transfer planning, and litigation involving fiduciaries, trusts, estates and guardianships. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and the University of North Carolina School of Law.
Young Moore’s estate planning team includes four Board Certified Specialists in Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law and two Fellows of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). Team Leader, Rudy L. Ogburn, was selected by Best Lawyers© as Raleigh Trusts and Estates “Lawyer of the Year” for 2017. As a multidisciplinary business law firm, our clients benefit by having supporting counsel available in other areas including business law, real estate, litigation, regulatory and administrative law, and employment law.
