Christy Dunn Presents Webinar to NCHCFA on Successful Appeal of F600 Immediate Jeopardy Tag to US DHHS

Young Moore attorney Christy C. Dunn recently presented a webinar for the North Carolina Health Care Facilities Association (NCHCFA) titled “Case Study of a Recent Successful Appeal of F600 Tag with Immediate Jeopardy to U.S. DHHS.” The program was sponsored by Young Moore and Henderson, P.A. and was held on March 12.
During the webinar, Christy walked attendees through a detailed case study of a member facility’s successful 2025 appeal of an F600 Immediate Jeopardy tag involving harm to a resident caused by a visitor. The program examined the facts of the incident, the complaint survey process, the cited deficiency, and the civil monetary penalty imposed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The webinar provided insight for long-term care professionals involved in regulatory compliance and strategic decision-making. The program explored considerations for deciding whether to pursue an appeal to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the federal courts.
