Duke Named Best Lawyers® “Lawyer of the Year” in the Raleigh Area

Young Moore’s managing partner David M. Duke was recently recognized by Best Lawyers® as the 2023 “Lawyer of the Year” for Product Liability Litigation – Defendants.

Only a single lawyer in each practice area and designated metropolitan area is honored as the “Lawyer of the Year,” making this accolade particularly significant. These lawyers are selected based on particularly impressive voting averages received during the peer review assessments.

In addition to the “Lawyer of the Year” award, David M. Duke was also listed in the 2023 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® in the following practice areas:

David is a shareholder at Young Moore where he serves as Managing Partner and as leader of the firm’s Trucking and Transportation Practice Group. He focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, with special emphasis on the defense and representation of clients in trucking and transportation, product liability and business litigation. He has over 30 years of trial and litigation experience and is active in several legal associations including ALFA International, the American College of Transportation Attorneys, the Propane Gas Defense Association, and the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) where he is a past president of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Southeast Region (SEABOTA) and the Eastern North Carolina Chapter.
