Insurance Law

When it involves insurance in North Carolina, we know every piece of the puzzle.

At Young Moore, we are proud of our roots in the insurance industry.  For decades, we have represented insurance industry players of all types—large and small, local and international, insurers and insureds.  From coverage analysis, bad faith litigation, and claims handling to interpreting regulations and drafting policies, we have the knowledge and experience to handle all of your insurance-related needs.

The Young Moore Insurance Industry Team is an interdisciplinary group that draws on the depth of our attorneys’ collective experience and skills across different practice areas to deliver real world solutions to our insurance industry clients.  Our practice touches on all types of insurance policies, including general commercial liability; directors and officers; errors and omissions; professional liability; property/casualty; workers’ compensation; automobile (including UM and UIM); inland marine; surplus lines; specialty lines; and residential and commercial property, as well as umbrella and excess.

In addition, having represented the North Carolina Rate Bureau for more than 40 years, our team has 360-degree insight, understanding, and expertise into the unique issues insurers face.

Throughout our history, we have worked hard to develop and maintain close ties with the insurance industry, and we are proud of those relationships.  No matter what insurance-related matters arise, we stand by our clients every step of the way.
