Hoffman to Present at NC Cooperative Safety Summit
Dana H. Hoffman, shareholder at Young Moore, will present at the upcoming NC Cooperative Safety Summit to be held at the Hotel Ballast in Wilmington, NC on July 15th-18th. Designed for employees of the cooperatives who work in operations or perform safety functions, the event features a lineup of experts who will present on a cross section of relevant topics. Dana’s presentation titled “Legal: Contacts, Contracts and Courts” will address legal obligations within the cooperative framework and include tips on navigating legal proceedings.
Dana focuses her practice on complex litigation defense and regularly represents North Carolina’s electric cooperatives throughout all stages of litigation. In addition to her experience in the electric utility industry, Dana represents motor carriers and nursing homes. She is an elected member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and a former President of the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA). She has been named to North Carolina Lawyer’s Weekly Power List in the area of Personal Injury for two consecutive years. She is also recognized in The Best Lawyers in America North Carolina Super Lawyers, and Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite.
