Hollander Appointed Chair of NCBA Tax Section
Young Moore attorney Reed J. Hollander has been appointed Chair of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) Tax Section for the 2024-2025 term. His appointment was announced at the Tax Section’s annual meeting on May 25th. Reed is a former Chair of the NCBA Constitutional Rights & Responsibilities Section (2006-2007) and is also a member of the NCBA Litigation and Appellate Practice Sections.
Reed focuses his practice primarily on state and local tax (SALT) controversies, including property tax, sales and use tax and other excise taxes, corporate and individual income tax. He also represents clients in matters involving eminent domain and condemnation law, economic development, and administrative and business litigation. Reed is a graduate of Duke University School of Law and is recognized in The Best Lawyers in America© and Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite. He is a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel and has served in various leadership positions within the American Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, and the Durham, Raleigh, and North Carolina Jaycees.
