Lori Allen to Present at 2026 ALFAI Workers’ Compensation Seminar
Young Moore and Henderson, P.A. attorney Lori M. Allen will present at the 2026 ALFA International Workers’ Compensation Practice Group Seminar, Workers’ Compensation at Altitude – Rising Together, taking place September 9–11, 2026, at the Flying Horse Resort & Club in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The seminar brings together attorneys and industry representatives to discuss timely developments and practical strategies in workers’ compensation and will provide valuable education, insights, and networking opportunities to help attendees navigate the evolving challenges of the field.
Lori will moderate a Friday morning panel entitled Claims Management: End-to-End Strategies for Success. This session will explore effective workers’ compensation claims management strategies, covering best practices for controlling costs, reducing claim duration, identifying trends, managing medical care, and achieving positive employee outcomes from initial investigation through closure.
Panelists will include Janice Matson, Vice President of Litigation and Risk at Bloomin’ Brands (Tampa, Florida), Alyssum Schluter, Workers’ Compensation Claims Specialist at Waste Connections (The Woodlands, Texas), and Jason Bonnet of Leake Andersson (Lafayette, Louisiana).
Lori Allen focuses her practice on workers’ compensation defense, representing employers and insurers across North Carolina. She advises clients in the manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, hospitality, and retail industries and defends claims through all stages of litigation before the North Carolina Industrial Commission.
