Young Moore Sponsors NCBA Tax Law Council Event; Hollander Wraps Up Term as Chair

Young Moore is proud to sponsor the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) Tax Law CLE and Annual Meeting, taking place May 23–25 at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina. During the event, Young Moore attorney and current Chair of the NCBA Tax Section, Reed Hollander, will introduce incoming Chair Christopher E. Hannum of Culp Elliott & Carpenter PLLC, as Reed concludes his one-year term.

With a strong focus on state and local tax issues, the NCBA Tax Section provides a wide range of programs on emerging tax topics and actively engages in policy, pro bono, and legislative projects. The Section also sponsors CLE opportunities, maintains an active blog for members, holds member roundtables to discuss current tax issues, and contributes to shaping the NCBA’s legislative agenda for presentation to the North Carolina General Assembly.

About Reed Hollander

Reed Hollander is a shareholder at Young Moore and concentrates his practice on North Carolina state and local tax (SALT) controversies, including property, sales and use, excise, and income tax matters. He also represents clients in eminent domain, economic development, and administrative litigation. A graduate of Duke University School of Law, Reed is recognized in Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America©, and Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite. He is a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel and has held leadership roles within the ABA, NCBA, and Jaycees.
