deRosset Presents at ALFA International Construction Conference
Young Moore Shareholder, Robert C. deRosset, presented at the ALFA International Construction Practice Group Conference held in July 2022 in Santa Barbara, California.
deRosset served as moderator of a panel discussion on The New Normal: Facing the Challenges of Today’s Labor Market. Panelists shared challenges they have faced over the last year and discussed how they are rising to the occasion in order to succeed in today’s employment climate, as well as the current legal issues surrounding the labor market. As the conference wrapped up, deRosset was presented to the audience as the incoming Chair of ALFA’s Construction Practice Group.
A shareholder at Young Moore, deRosset serves clients primarily in the fields of construction, business, and product liability law. He is admitted to practice in both North and South Carolina and certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission to conduct mediated settlement conferences in North Carolina Superior Court. He is also involved in the effort in North Carolina to expand collaborative law into construction and business law. Within ALFA International, before moving into his new role as Chair of the Construction Practice Group, deRosset served as its Vice Chair and Marketing Chair. He is also an active member of ALFA’s Products Liability and Complex Torts Practice Group. Bob is recognized in North Carolina Super Lawyers® and holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
