Hoffman Elected Member of American Board of Trial Advocates
Dana H. Hoffman, Shareholder at Young Moore, was recently elected for membership into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
Dana focuses her practice on the transportation, long term care and electric industries serving as a litigator, advisor and defender of complex defense litigation for motor carriers, nursing homes, and rural electric cooperatives. She is a Past President of the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA) where she served a total of 10 years on its Board of Directors. Dana was recently named to the North Carolina Lawyer’s Weekly Power List in the area of Personal Injury and is recognized in Best Lawyers in America© and Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite.
Membership into ABOTA is by invitation-only. Candidates must have at least five years of active experience as trial lawyers, have tried at least 10 civil jury trials to conclusion, possess additional litigation experience, and exhibit the virtues of civility, integrity, and professionalism.
