Christy Dunn Presents at Raleigh Metro SHRM Monthly Program

Christy C. Dunn, shareholder at Young Moore, recently presented at the May Monthly Program hosted by the Raleigh Metro Society for Human Resource Management (RMSHRM) on May 19, 2026. The program brought together HR professionals and business leaders from across the region to discuss employment-related issues affecting today’s workplace.
Christy’s presentation, “Terminate with Integrity: Less Surprise, More Support, No Retaliation,” focused on helping HR professionals, supervisors, and managers navigate employee terminations in a legally sound, ethical, and professional manner. The session explored strategies for identifying and addressing performance and communication issues before termination becomes necessary, as well as best practices involving documentation, policy enforcement, and communication throughout the process. The presentation also addressed retaliation concerns and offered practical guidance for reducing legal risk while supporting organizational integrity and employee dignity.
Christy is a shareholder at Young Moore whose practice focuses on employment law, civil litigation, insurance law, and long-term care regulatory compliance. She advises employers, insurers, policyholders, and long-term care providers on compliance, risk management, and litigation matters.
