Dawn Dillon Featured in Triangle Business Journal Peak 25
Young Moore’s Managing Partner, Dawn M. Dillon, is featured in the latest edition of Peak 25, a special publication by the Triangle Business Journal launched in 2023. Peak 25 spotlights individuals recently appointed to lead their organizations, showcasing their commitment to fostering growth, excellence, and empathy within our communities. In her interview, Dawn reflects on her historic role as the first female leader of Young Moore, the transformative changes the firm has undergone in her 26 years of service, her aspirations as managing partner, and the prevailing challenges confronting law firms today.
Dawn joined Young Moore in 1996 and assumed the role of Managing Partner in 2023. She also co-leads the firm’s employment and workers’ compensation litigation team where she provides invaluable guidance and representation to clients, addressing a spectrum of issues such as workers’ compensation claims, non-compete agreements, harassment and retaliation claims, ADA, FMLA, FSLA matters, and employment agreement drafting and enforcement.
Dawn is active in the legal and business communities where she has served in various leadership roles including Chair of ALFA International’s Workers’ Compensation Practice Group and President of the Board of Directors of the Alice Aycock Poe Center for Health Education.
