Dawn Dillon Named Among North Carolina’s 50 Most Influential Women

Young Moore and Henderson, P.A. is proud to announce that Managing Partner Dawn M. Dillon has been named one of North Carolina Lawyers Weekly’s 50 Most Influential Women for 2026.

The annual recognition celebrates women leaders who play an important role in North Carolina’s legal and business communities. Honorees are selected for their leadership, business acumen, mentoring and community involvement.

Dawn has served as Young Moore’s Managing Partner since 2023 and is the first woman to lead the firm since its founding in 1954. In addition to overseeing the firm’s operations and strategic direction, she co-leads the firm’s Employment and Workers’ Compensation team.

Throughout her career, Dawn has held numerous leadership positions within the legal profession and the community. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of ALFA International and is Treasurer for the 2025–2026 term. She previously chaired ALFA International’s Workers’ Compensation Practice Group and served as President of the Board of Directors of the Alice Aycock Poe Center for Health Education. In 2026, she was also appointed to the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity Greater Raleigh.

Among her professional honors, Dawn has been named to North Carolina Lawyers Weekly’s Employment Power List and, earlier this year, was selected for its inaugural Legal 250 in the area of Workers’ Compensation. She is also recognized in The Best Lawyers in America®, North Carolina Super Lawyers®, and Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite™.

The 2026 50 Most Influential Women honorees will be celebrated on October 29, 2026, at Project 658 in Charlotte.
