Rutala Presents on Legal Aspects of Infection Prevention
Healthcare attorney, Donna Renfrow Rutala, recently presented on Legal Aspects of Infection Prevention with a focus on legal challenges associated with COVID-19. The webinar was part of a 4-day virtual event hosted by the Statewide Program for Infection Control and Epidemiology (SPICE) and attended by infection prevention professionals from all over the country.
Donna is an attorney at Young Moore and focuses her practice on medical malpractice defense litigation and health law. She began her career as a nurse before attending law school and worked as a risk/claims manager for UNC Hospitals while attending the evening law program at NCCU. Donna’s unique combination of experience in the health care setting enables her to provide an in-depth understanding of multiple problems faced by the health care industry. She is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America™ and has an AV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
