Raynor & Linder to Present at ALFA International Workers’ Compensation Seminar
Young Moore Shareholders, Dawn Dillon Raynor and Jeffrey T. Linder, will present at ALFA International’s upcoming seminar, An Oasis in the Workers’ Compensation Desert, scheduled for October 3-5, 2018 at the Mountain Shadows Resort in Paradise Valley Arizona. The event is an interactive workshop seminar, where attorneys who specialize in workers’ compensation defense litigation, along with managers of workers’ compensation programs for regional and national companies, will debate and discuss many of the current and relevant topics faced in workers’ compensation programs.
Dawn is the current Chair of ALFA’s Workers’ Compensation Practice Group (WCPG) and will moderate a panel titled “The Temperature is Rising: Effects of the #Metoo Movement in the Workplace and in Workers’ Compensation Claims.” Jeff Linder is a former Chair of ALFA’s WCPG and will moderate a panel titled “A Wave (Of New Technology) in the Oasis: Understanding What Wearable Devices Can Do For Your Program.”
Dawn serves as operations manager at Young Moore and co-leads the firm’s employment & workers’ compensation litigation team. She represents employers in matters involving workers’ compensation claims and other employment matters such as non-compete agreements, harassment and retaliation claims, ADA, FMLA and FSLA issues, employment agreement drafting and enforcement. She regularly speaks at seminars for clients and other lawyers on workers’ compensation and employment law topics.
Jeff is co-leader of Young Moore’s employment & workers’ compensation litigation team and a past member of the firm’s practice management committee. He focuses his practice on employment and workers’ compensation litigation and represents a broad array of employers, including those in the following industries: Healthcare; Hospitality and Retail; Manufacturing; Professional Services; and Transportation. He is a frequent speaker on employment and workers’ compensation law issues.
