Dawn Dillon Named Treasurer of ALFA International Board of Directors

Young Moore attorney Dawn M. Dillon has been elected Treasurer of the Board of Directors of ALFA International (ALFA). Her election was confirmed during the organization’s annual business meeting, held October 8–10, 2025, in Madrid, Spain. The event brought together member firms from around the world for leadership meetings, practice group sessions, networking opportunities, and strategic updates, with the appointment of new officers taking place during the formal board session.

In her new role as Treasurer, Dillon will help oversee ALFA International’s financial governance and strategic initiatives for the global network of independent law firms. Her election reflects both her trusted leadership within the organization and her ongoing commitment to advancing collaboration and innovation across ALFA’s international community. Active in ALFA International for many years, Dawn previously served as Chair of its Workers’ Compensation Practice Group.

Dawn currently serves as Managing Partner of Young Moore, and is the first woman to hold that position since the firm’s founding in 1954. She concentrates her legal practice in workers’ compensation and employment law, representing employers, insurers, and third-party administrators before the North Carolina Industrial Commission and advising on workplace policies and compliance with state and federal employment laws.

She has been named to the North Carolina Lawyers Weekly Employment Power List for two consecutive years and is recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® and Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite™.
