Duke Elected Chairman of American College Of Transportation Attorneys

Young Moore attorney, David M. Duke, was recently elected to serve a two year term as Chairman of American College of Transportation Attorneys (ACTA), a non-profit association consisting of a select group of experienced transportation defense lawyers who have joined together to serve as a confidential, reliable, and supplemental legal resource to the trucking industry. ACTA consists of 32 members, each with over 20 years of trucking industry service.

With more than 35 years of trial and litigation experience, David leads Young Moore’s Transportation and Logistics team and served as the firm’s Managing Partner from February 2017 through February 2023. He focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, with special emphasis on the defense and representation of clients in trucking and transportation, product liability and business litigation. In addition to his involvement in ACTA, David is active in ALFA International, the Propane Gas Defense Association, and the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
