Young Moore represents clients in employment litigation in federal and state courts, in arbitration proceedings and before the EEOC and other administrative agencies over issues arising in the workplace. These cases may be based on state and federal statutes and regulations, common law causes of action and contractual principles. These matters include cases claiming discrimination on account of race, sex, religion, age, national origin and disability under state and federal law. They also include cases relating to sexual and racial harassment, wrongful discharge, wage and hour issues, retaliatory discharge claims, workplace privacy claims, FMLA charges, OSHA charges and workers compensation claims.

Our employment litigation attorneys also work with clients on covenants not to compete, trade secrets, employment contract provisions and other workplace issues. The firm also handles cases and advises clients with respect to matters dealing with employment benefits issues arising under statutes including the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act  (COBRA) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
